Oppo Find X- How the pop up camera system works?

The Oppo Find X is the new flagship smartphone from the keen midrange maker and this is no ordinary flagship. The key feature of the Find X is that it has a pop up camera system. A particular module pops up by a weird motorized system which contains the DUAL rear camera system and the front camera along with the Face ID scanner. This is something innovative as it allows the Find X to achieve a FULL VISION Display (an actual FULL VISION Display) and provides the phone a camera less look. Well, this does amazes the body since what you see is clean body on one side and complete screen on another(front), without the distracting peripherals (and a notch too).

The Find X is may be one of Oppo's first Flagships, with flagship grade features. The Oppo F7 is near to a typical flagship, powered by the Helio P60 which is an actual High grade Chipset with AI features (and new architecture too). Technically, the Helio P60 is the first highly advanced flagship grade midrange chipset made for midrange phones(Oppo may got the dibs first).

Other hardwares may be similar to what other phones offer, the typical uncommon pop up camera system may be new. The Vivo NEX S also has a pop up front camera. But it doesn't look that much cool like the Find X. The Find X's pop up module is basically of the same width and thickness as that of the phone itself. The module contains the DUAL cameras and in between is the dual LED flash. The front camera stays alone with the hidden Face ID scanner. You must be wondering how the system actually works, whether it completely stays popped up or pop's up when the camera is to be used. YES, the latter is true. Tasks  that require the camera or the Face ID to be used, when opening the camera app, the camera module just pop up within less than a second and there you have the incredible cameras.

HOW IT WORKS?

So how the system works and does it operate fast enough? The pop up system works fluently. Within around half a second, the module pops up. The motor system is fast enough to drive up the module. When you open the camera app, or require it to open during third party apps, or even from the lockscreen itself, the module simply pops up. The AI integration into the camera also works incredible. Though in camera tricks and scene detection are done usually well enough just like other phones. The Face ID scanner also works with the AI itself. Well, its not like the usual Look-Scan-Unlock process. It is rather a Lockscreen-Popup-Scan-Unlock process. Yes, you actually have to go the lockscreen first, which when you want to unlock, the module pops up, does the scanning and unlocks the phone and then the module goes back to its right place.
You must be thinking that it might be a slow process. YES, but it is an actual mechanical system here working rather than nano sized hardware integrated AI doing the whole stuff along with the scanner. But to be fast, the system actually pops up, does the scan, unlocks your phone and then it pops down. It means you get your phone unlocked within less than second. Not that fast like other Face ID phone, but fast enough. Plus you wont be winning any benchmarks here. Cool.

The pop up module operates fast enough

The mechanical system does come up with some disadvantages too. Inspite an unexplainable display experience and stylish camera less body on the Find X, the disadvantages are much worse. The Mechanical system is simply prone to infusion of particles. You wont be using the module that much except for camera, provided the unlocking can be done via passwords or patterns. Sadly, a fingerprint sensor is missing too on the phone. You aren't sure how much the motor will last, though you can get it replaced easily (not for free). Also, the mechanical system works manually too. When you want to use the camera, you can actually slide out the module with little effort (provided that doesn't effect the motor). When done, you can slide it down too. That helps though.

Well, enough the Find X did an innovation here of providing a great FULL VISION DISPLAY and a incredible body design without any peripheral distraction. That is something new and cool. The Pop up system works way good though. There are few things to worry if you want it to last. Except , everything on the Find X is just incredible. A big 6.42 inch 1080p Full Vision Display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM and upto 512GB of storage, DUAL CAMERA with OIS and a big battery, Oppo did secure a good stand into the flagship category, also capable enough to give other brands tough competition with more innovation.

6 INCREDIBLE THINGS IN THE OPPO FIND X

The Oppo Find X recently got released without a camera module on its body. And that is just amazing for a full body display without a camera on the either side, but as a pop up module which sports both the dual rear setup and the front camera. Oppo already had phones that came with impressive camera modules, much of the technology infused. But now that includes improved camera quality too with better sensors and optics. Quite an uncommon thing, but Oppo dosent stand that much in the flagship ground as it is much more concentrated in the midrange and budget segment.  But with the Find X, it did secure a place. It will be determined in the future whether this will be temporary or permanent. TECHARENA - Is the new Moto G6 Play a good buy?

The 6th gen Moto G smartphones are actually upto something. And that can be seen in their hardware upgrades, which is nothing like the previous generation Moto smartphones. Like the other G6 series phones, the G6 play also sports some good hardware and a special upgrade for the camera that most budget phones miss out (and that's where you get disappointment on buying one).         The Moto G6 play combines sufficient performance with a capable camera for a good price, just like the E5 plus. Else for the previous G4 play, which was quite a good phone, that did not meet the actual budget expectations, though that was 2 years ago. But this time, the G6 play did. It comes with a Snapdragon 430 (snapdragon 425 for USA variant) Chipset for providing all the power needed, an improved 13MP camera and a big 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Well specifications seem good, but is it a good buy? or just a was...
