HOW TO CHOOSE A GAMING SMARTPHONE

Everybody like games. Some rather love it. And probably gamers have it as their one way addiction. Games were popular on game stations, and now they are more common on PCs and consoles. On mobile phones they were less common unless Android OS came into play. With quality games at that time, like Temple Run, Subway Surfers, Shadow fight 2, racing ones include Asphalt 7, Need for Speed no limits, GTA san andreas etc. These all did changed the entire experience of playing games on mobile phones.
The GTA San Andreas is one of the most played Android game.

Though Smartphones have changed everything we did and do on a phone. They now come with powerful processors with high grade Graphics, high quality RAM, faster storage and ofcourse bigger battery packs. Though the processing power in the CPU matters only, the other hardwares and their parameters can be manipulated to work better. Like as for a better GPU performance overall, a smaller resolution screen makes the phone perform better. If you need better battery performance you cease down tasks per period, lower down the screen brightness and you are good to go for a bit more longer period.

Ok, enough of geek talk. Now lets come to business. Games on smartphones typically for android are better as compared to other platforms, you either get less number of free games (as in iOS) or there are just few of them only, though for free(as in Windows mobile). But more number of games doesn't mean you can play all of them well in your potato android phone which you bought just for around 5,000 INR  or less. You could exactly do that in any windows phone, provided they have the minimum hardware required. Apple phones do come with high grade CPUs and GPUs, but also a high grade price, that isn't quite efficient to afford unless you have a lot of money.

Contrary to that point, Lots of android phones that come out now have quality hardware. So you don't need to worry about not being able to play a game on your budget phone since now its no more of 2016 era. Even budgets now come with octacore CPUs, higher clocked GPU cores, good 2-3GB RAM and high resolution screen. But playing a game fluently at high graphics is not something you can do in a budget phone. Ok, the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Plus is an exception with the Adreno 530 on its 1080p screen and can play anything at high.

Now if you are budget oriented and don't want  to spend a lot of money, there is simple guide for you to help you out to get the best GPU phone. Flagship and midrange phones come with good GPUs for gaming so unless you are buying one you dont need to worry as these can run games at high graphics. As for budget phone users, I have a guide for you, check out below.

Here is a simple guide on how to choose a gaming smartphone.

1. While or Before buying a phone typically for games, see for the chipset specifications mainly. If not enough, try looking for it in the internet. You can get various sites that list the full specifications of a particular chipset, about its core arrangements, Graphics and its cores, frequency and limits.

2. After you are familiar with the data, do keep in mind that the screen that comes with the phone plays an important role during game play. A simple relation between screen resolution and GPU power explains that you can get greater amount of frames per second on a lower resolution. Simply to say, if possible try looking for a phone that comes in a lower resolution but with a powerful GPU(the minimum resolution available presently is 720p which is both perfect for viewing and gaming even on less powerful GPUs)

3. Considering the other hardwares, be sure that they are also sufficient for the phone like RAM should be around 1.5GB(stock Android OS do run good even with 1GB RAM, still try looking for a phone with atleast 1.5GB or more). Though you can now install games on SD card too, be sure to check that your selected phone comes with a sufficient internal storage (minimum should be 16GB or more, if less than be sure that installation of apps/games are supported on the SD card too).

4. One of the most important consideration is the Battery. Though battery consumption mostly depends on screen size and chipset's creation (or fabrication) process and less on the software. Smaller the chipset's fabrication size (16nm or lower, mostly chipsets used for budgets are old ones, either of a 20 or 28nm sized, 14nm is best), smaller the screen, better the battery backup and performance. Also bigger nm sized chipsets, if they have a quad core arrangement rather than an octa core one, then better battery backup can be expected (as even for a lesser time, 4 cores will draw power than 8).

5. The above mentioned specifications are most important for fluent performance during gaming on a smartphone. Other features like speakers, body heat output(more in case of a metal body phone), software optimizations for maximum performance are also important but can be adjusted manually.

Essentially, smartphones are way better now. They can handle most of the tasks thrown at them without a single hiccup. But choosing the correct specifications for the purpose you are going to do will better save you of the useless hassles of  wasting money and still get inferior performance.

6 INCREDIBLE THINGS IN THE OPPO FIND X

The Oppo Find X recently got released without a camera module on its body. And that is just amazing for a full body display without a camera on the either side, but as a pop up module which sports both the dual rear setup and the front camera. Oppo already had phones that came with impressive camera modules, much of the technology infused. But now that includes improved camera quality too with better sensors and optics. Quite an uncommon thing, but Oppo dosent stand that much in the flagship ground as it is much more concentrated in the midrange and budget segment.  But with the Find X, it did secure a place. It will be determined in the future whether this will be temporary or permanent. TECHARENA - Is the new Moto G6 Play a good buy?

The 6th gen Moto G smartphones are actually upto something. And that can be seen in their hardware upgrades, which is nothing like the previous generation Moto smartphones. Like the other G6 series phones, the G6 play also sports some good hardware and a special upgrade for the camera that most budget phones miss out (and that's where you get disappointment on buying one).         The Moto G6 play combines sufficient performance with a capable camera for a good price, just like the E5 plus. Else for the previous G4 play, which was quite a good phone, that did not meet the actual budget expectations, though that was 2 years ago. But this time, the G6 play did. It comes with a Snapdragon 430 (snapdragon 425 for USA variant) Chipset for providing all the power needed, an improved 13MP camera and a big 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Well specifications seem good, but is it a good buy? or just a was...
